Biography

I am currently a PhD student of Political Science at the Truman School of Government and Public Affairs and a graduate fellow at the Kinder Institute on Constitutional Democracy. I received my MA in Atlantic History and Politics from the University of Missouri and my BA in Political Science from Utah Valley University. I am interested in American politics, comparative politics, historical political economy, and political institutions. In particular, I am interested in how ideas affect the evolution of political institutions and how political parties act as an the vehicle of how ideas impact institutional development.
